Stem Cell Transplantation Centre for Africa, STEMCETA was primarily founded to champion the research, application and domestication of anti-aging stem cell therapy and regenerative medicine in the countries of the African continent; providing patients and their loved ones with vital information on the availability of modern treatments for incurable and untreatable diseases they suffer from.
In 2001 stem cell campaign in Africa commenced, coinciding with the decision of the United States Government under President Bush to support stem cell transplantation. During the period, we started full operations in Nigeria believing that the President’s support for stem cell technology will add impetus to the campaign for the ground-breaking health benefits of stem cell technology in Africa.
At that initial time, the technology appeared alien to most medical professionals in the country. Suffice it to posit that we did not record substantial achievements. But we decided to remain engaged and committed to the noble project, having been working with stem cell experts across the globe for many years.
